Based between Zurich and London, Prince’s design practice is organised into collections, each harnessing a distinct line of material research. Making part of the work herself, including welding and carpentry, she then collaborates with specialist ateliers, examining a specific craft’s embodied knowledge, and understanding how it can unfold in new directions. The aim is to push the materiality of the work to a certain limit, opening new possibilities in spatial and furniture design and contributing to discourses in material research.
